The Frankfurt Region consists of four state-of-the-art datacenters located in Frankfurt am Main, Hessen, Germany. These datacenters are designed with the latest security and reliability features to protect customer data and applications. The region's proximity to major business and technology hubs in Germany and the surrounding region provides low latency and high performance for local customers.
The launch of the Frankfurt Region is part of AWS's continued investment in Germany. AWS has been operating in Germany since 2007 and has a significant presence in the country, with offices in Berlin, Frankfurt, and Munich.
